For Therapy Sessions

$90/hour

This rate applies to all services within professional counseling, including psychotherapy, trauma therapy, and EMDR, both in-person and online.

A therapy hour typically includes 50 minutes of therapeutic interaction, plus a 10-minute buffer for transitions and record-keeping.

If you’re experiencing financial hardship, you may be eligible for a temporarily reduced rate. Just let me know if you’d like to discuss this further.

I’m able to bill KY Medicaid in partnership with Healing Essence Wellness. If you’d like to use your Medicaid benefits, just reach out and I’ll do my best to make it happen.

While I can’t bill private insurance directly, I can help you seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance by providing you with a special receipt called a Superbill. You may also use a Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for sessions. Check with your insurance company for the specifics of your plan.

For Tarot Sessions

I offer readings because it’s a passion of mine. I also want to offer a lower cost option for those who are seeking clarity and guidance, but can’t afford therapy, or aren’t sure they need or want therapy at this time. My training as a professional counselor absolutely informs the way I read tarot, but tarot is not therapy. We can incorporate tarot readings into therapy sessions at no additional cost, but we can’t turn tarot readings into therapy sessions.

Most Mondays I offer in-person readings by appointment and walk-in at The Nice Rock Shop in Paducah, KY. I offer in-person or virtual readings by appointment at my office any other weekday.

Payments

All fees for services rendered are due at time of service. I accept cash, check, HSA cards, debit cards, and all major credit cards. For therapy sessions, I process card payments on the day of service using Stripe via Simple Practice, a HIPAA-compliant practice management system. I process Medicaid claims using a similar but separate system — Therapy Notes — in partnership with Healing Essence Wellness. For tarot readings I accept cash, check, or electronic payments via Venmo and PayPal.
